DETAILED CORRESPONDENCE TO MS. FRANCESCA ALBANESE CONCERNING THE HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN THE GAZA STRIP

Justice pour Tous Internationale has formally addressed a letter to UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese and members of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry, including Ms. Navanethem Pillay, Mr. Miloon Kothari, and Mr. Chris Sidoti, concerning the ongoing hostilities and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza since October 7, 2023. The association urged a reassessment of self-defense and self-determination principles under international law, advocating for immediate international intervention to protect civilians and uphold human rights in the region. It also appealed for immediate action from the UN’s human rights mechanisms, including a special session on Gaza and a response from the UN offices focused on genocide prevention and responsibility to protect, stressing justice and balanced self-defense rights.
