Our Expertise
Justice pour Tous Internationale (JPTi) addresses a wide spectrum of critical human rights challenges through focused, strategic interventions. Leveraging our deep expertise in international law and advocacy, we hold governments and corporations accountable on multilateral platforms, with a strong emphasis on United Nations mechanisms, the Council of Europe and OSCE. Our mission is to protect vulnerable populations, advocate for systemic reforms, and uphold the principles of justice, dignity, and equality worldwide.
Our approach spans critical areas such as defending whistleblowers, journalists, and political dissidents, promoting business and human rights, advancing religious and child rights, and combatting corruption.
Through targeted international legal actions and advocacy at the national and multilateral levels, we not only respond to individual cases but also drive long-term changes that strengthen global human rights protections.

Journalists, Activists
& Political Dissidents
The Challenges at Hand
Whistleblowers, journalists, and political dissidents frequently endure arbitrary detention or are targeted under state security legislation, including counter-terrorism laws and practices, misused to silence dissenting voices. These targeted SLAPPs endanger not only the safety and freedom of these individuals but also compromise democratic principles and the public's access to information. When state security legislation is manipulated to suppress journalism and activism, it obstructs transparency and accountability—values essential to the development of democratic governance and the inclusive, accountable institutions promoted by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
How We Take Action
To address this critical issue, JPTi collaborates with multilateral entities to advance protections for those at risk. We engage in formal submissions to the UN Special Procedures mandate holders, including the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention (WGAD), and within the UN Human Rights Council, presenting complaints and insights into the abuses faced by these individuals. Our organisation also participates in oral interventions at the Human Rights Council, amplifying specific cases of repression, and organises side events at the United Nations to raise global awareness of victims' experiences. Through these international platforms, JPTi effectively highlights abuses by state officials and advocates for independent reviews of these practices, ensuring that journalists, whistleblowers, political dissidents and activists can fulfil their roles without fear of persecution.
Business & Human Rights:
Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs
The Challenges at Hand
Entrepreneurs face a significant protection gap under international law, one that is increasingly exacerbated by the negative consequences of unilateral sanctions and discriminatory boycotts, including antisemitic ones, worldwide. Working-class entrepreneurs, representing small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)—a particularly vulnerable group identified by our association—are not merely economic agents; they are the backbone of our communities, essential for growth and social stability. Despite their invaluable contributions, they face immense challenges that threaten their livelihoods.
How We Take Action
JPTi remains a staunch advocate for the depoliticisation of entrepreneurship and the establishment of a unified protective mandate, such as a Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Entrepreneurs or a global Business Ombudsman, leveraging our platform within the United Nations to advance this cause. By engaging directly with the OHCHR and delivering oral statements during the sessions of the Human Rights Council, the Working Group on Business and Human Rights, and the Business and Human Rights Forum, we strive to raise awareness about the victims of these violations. Our advocacy not only seeks to advance individual complaints and secure adequate compensation for disproportionate losses but also aims to enhance the visibility of affected entrepreneurs, ensuring their grievances receive timely and effective attention.
Religious Rights
The Challenges at Hand
Religious rights ensure the freedom of thought, belief, and conscience, allowing individuals to practice their faith without fear of discrimination or persecution. Yet, across the globe, political pressures, societal intolerance, restrictive policies, and boycotts threaten these freedoms, fueling division and undermining stability.
JPTi advocates for human-centric judicial reforms aligned with ICCPR provisions, ensuring independence, due process, and privacy protections, particularly in regions where religious influence dominates governance or courts. Religious persecution through judicial systems must end.
To combat systemic discrimination, JPTi also calls for comprehensive equality laws globally, prohibiting religious discrimination, ensuring access to education for all, and safeguarding private life. Such measures are essential for fostering inclusion and upholding justice.
How We Take Action
JPTi is dedicated to advancing and defending religious rights, striving to ensure that individuals can practice their beliefs freely and without fear of repression. At the 54th, 55th, 56th and 57th sessions of the Human Rights Council and the 2024 UN Social Forum, we delivered statements highlighting the pervasive challenges faced by individuals and communities due to religious discrimination, while advocating for stronger international protections for freedom of belief. JPTi actively raises awareness of religious persecution, challenges discriminatory practices such as antisemitic boycotts and unilateral coercive measures, and advocates for policy reforms that safeguard religious freedoms globally.
Children's Rights
The Challenges at Hand
Children’s rights embody essential protections guaranteed to every child under international human rights frameworks, ensuring their right to life, development, and protection from abuse and exploitation. As vulnerable members of society, children’s rights are crucial for fostering equity and security across global communities. However, in recent years, a concerning trend has emerged in which children in foster care and adoption systems face an elevated risk of exploitation, often exacerbated by the growing financial incentives that can overshadow the children's best interests. Structural deficiencies within welfare systems frequently fail to counteract these exploitative dynamics, leaving many children exposed to situations that compromise their safety and stability.
How We Take Action
JPTi is committed to protecting children’s rights, with a particular focus on those at the highest risk of exploitation within foster care and adoption frameworks. Through a combination of advocacy and collaboration with policymakers, JPTi works to shed light on the detrimental effects of profit-driven practices within child welfare systems. By promoting policies that strengthen accountability and transparency in child welfare, JPTi endeavours to create a safer, more compassionate world for vulnerable children and to uphold the principles of justice and integrity that underpin children’s rights.
Repatriation of Illicit Funds:
Combatting Corruption
The Challenges at Hand
Repatriation of illicit funds and anti-corruption addresses the critical need to recover and return stolen assets and prevent corruption that drains resources from nations and disrupts supply chains, depriving communities of essential services, infrastructure, and economic stability. Corruption disproportionately impacts developing nations, where diverted funds contribute to poverty, inequality, and weakened institutions. Globally, vast sums of money are siphoned off through corrupt practices, then hidden in foreign accounts or offshore investments, making asset recovery a complex, multi-jurisdictional challenge.
How We Take Action
JPTi remains active in fighting corruption and advocating for the repatriation of illicit funds, emphasising accountability and justice for affected individuals and communities. JPTi advocates for transparency and stronger anti-corruption policies, and directly assists those who have suffered due to unjust asset confiscation. Through our efforts, we aim to dismantle corrupt practices, secure financial justice, and ensure that resources are redirected towards the communities that rightfully own them, fostering a more equitable and stable global society.
Modernising Police Services Globally
The Challenges at Hand
The need for comprehensive police reforms has become increasingly urgent across the globe, as outdated practices, limited oversight, and insufficient legal protections within police institutions contribute to significant systemic issues. These issues frequently result in arbitrary detentions, abuse, and discrimination, which disproportionately impact vulnerable populations, eroding public trust and infringing upon fundamental human rights. As law enforcement agencies struggle to address modern social and security challenges, reforming and modernising police practices has become essential to fostering justice, protecting rights, and ensuring that policing aligns with the principles of fairness and accountability.
How We Take Action
JPTi is committed to promoting modernisation and accountability within police services, working to protect human rights and ensure law enforcement agencies uphold international standards. Through our international advocacy and active engagement with UN mechanisms and other international platforms, we strive for critical reforms that promote transparency, accountability, and human rights adherence within policing. By presenting reports and recommendations, we seek to raise awareness of the urgent need for modern police practices that respect and protect individuals’ rights.
Comprehensive Law on Equality
The Challenges at Hand
Equality is a fundamental principle enshrined in international human rights law, ensuring that all individuals are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect, regardless of their identity or background. Comprehensive laws on equality are crucial for combating discrimination, promoting inclusivity, and safeguarding the rights of marginalized groups who are often subjected to systemic bias and exclusion. These laws serve as a foundation for building societies where equal opportunity is not just a promise but a reality, reinforcing social cohesion and justice.
How We Take Action
JPTi is committed to advancing comprehensive legal frameworks that promote equality and combat all forms of discrimination. We engage in advocacy and strategic litigation to push for the adoption and enforcement of robust anti-discrimination laws. By collaborating with international bodies and national governments, we work to ensure that legal protections are in place to uphold the rights of all individuals, particularly those who face systemic inequalities. Our initiatives include submitting reports and recommendations to United Nations mechanisms, participating in human rights council sessions, and raising awareness through public campaigns to drive legislative and policy changes.
Strengthening of Ombudsman Institutions
The Challenges at Hand
The strengthening of ombudsman institutions is essential in countries where issues such as torture, police brutality, and insufficient accountability mechanisms within law enforcement persist. Existing oversight mechanisms often suffer from limited resources, restricted access to facilities, and insufficient independence from political influence, which undermines their ability to protect individuals' rights. In many regions, despite legal reforms, the struggle to effectively prevent and address governmental abuses remains an ongoing challenge.

How We Take Action
JPTi is committed to strengthening ombudsman institutions as a fundamental component in preventing torture and other abuses within national frameworks. We advocate for ombudsman offices that operate with full independence and the authority to conduct unannounced inspections, as endorsed by the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT). By promoting reforms and transparency, JPTi works with local civil societies to fortify ombudsman institutions, enabling them to serve as effective guardians of human rights and ensuring accountability within law enforcement systems.
