Carazo, a Committee member, was prevented from addressing the UK delegation regarding the cases of Julian Assange and Craig Murray. Carazo sought to raise concerns over Assange’s arbitrary detention, Murray’s investigation under the UK Terrorism Act, and broader issues like the situation in Gaza and the UK’s role in arms exports. Despite being listed as a speaker, he was denied the opportunity to speak, leading to his protest during the session.
